We hosted a booth at the Earth Day Fair at Fremont Downtown Event Center & Plaza. We had contestants play a matching card game and win a prize for wildflower seeds. We also put up a trifold to showcase our cause for our Silver Award project. 

We hosted a book sale on May 12, 2024, from 12 pm to 3 pm and sold books of all ages and genres. All of the funds from this sale went towards this website. 

We hosted an additional book sale on May 18, 2024, to sell the books left over from our previous sale. All of the funds from this sale went towards this website.

This is a look behind the scenes of our Earth Day Fair preparations. We assembled our trifold display and filled envelopes with wildflower seeds. We also cut out and attached labels to our envelopes to briefly describe how to plant the seeds. Furthermore, we prepared a matching card game by cutting out and gluing the cards. 

Here are some behind-the-scenes photos of us preparing for our May 12, 2024 book sale. In these pictures, we are creating the labels for the different book genres and are setting up our sale at the venue. 

In these pictures we are discussing our cause and our idea to address it at our monthly Girl Scout troop meeting. We explained what the problem is, why it is important, and how we plan to solve it. We asked the Girl Scouts in our troop to donate books to go towards our book sale, so we can raise funds for our website.
